According to info I have, Perry was a son of Alonzo and Fronnie Lambert Carnley. Alonzo was a son of Milton Carnley of Santa Rosa County, FL. Milton was a son of Jeremiah Carnley/Carnline/Cantaline. Jeremiah appears to have been a descendant of either Lewis Carnley Sr. (m. Vica), or Christian Cantaline. Jeremiah Cantaline appears on the 1850 census of Covington County, Alamaba, and Milton is listed as a member of his household. Milton is on the 1870 census of Santa Rosa County, Florida, and Lonzo, age 8, is listed as a member of his household. Milton (Carnline) m. Sarah J. Stacy on 7 February 1854 in Monroe County, Alabama (Marriage Book A, 1833-1880, p. 163). Alonzo Carnley married Fronnie Lambert 29 January 1883 in Monroe County, Alabama (Marriage Book C, 1881-1896, p. 196). My info indicates Alonzo and Fronnie had two children - Lydge and Perry. Alonzo and a second wife, name unknown, had the following children: Fred, Robert, Hughey, Omer, Oliver, Maude, Clair, and Loreena. This is the extent of the info I have. Hopefully, another member of that line will see this and be able to add more info.
